About me
My name is Jordan Cisneros, I am just finishing up my Freshman year at ESU. I enjoy spending time with my family and boyfriend. I am currently just taking General Education courses at ESU with plans to transfer to another university to study Social Work. My ultimate career goal is to finish a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, and be able to practice privately as a Clinical Social Worker. I have an extreme passion for helping others, and helping them be able to reach a goal. I would like to work with clients who suffer from depression or suicidal tendencies, I believe that suicide prevention is so important. I have volunteered for several Mental Health and Suicide Prevention 5k's, it is something I hope to continue for the rest of my life.
One goal I had for this class was to be able to establish a more effective way of conducting research, another goal I had was to be able to find reliable sources easily and know what resources I could utilize at ESU, or any library.

About my project
My project helped me answer my question of "what are the benefits of vaccines?". I learned a great amount of information over the course of this project. I learned that there are many controversies that follow vaccines, what vaccines are made out of, the history of vaccines, and why they are so important. This topic is important in the news, and especially with the recent measles outbreak at Disneyland. Educating parents and the public helps to prevent more outbreaks like this, along with educating them when they make the decision on whether or not to vaccinate their own children. I found this topic very interesting, and I really enjoyed learning about all the areas of vaccinations.
